How do I know whether I need an Academic Coach?
The first session is an assessment during which time we get to know our learners and their needs. Multiple questions are asked and answered about processing and development as well as what goals are in place. A detailed path, including a possible schedule, is then determined.

How are the sessions structured?
As Academic Coaches, we offer a variety of services to our learners. We help with course selection, time management, and implementing proper organizational skills. We teach how to study and apply effective study strategies.

What assistance do you offer?
Do you offer group sessions? How do they work?
Group sessions are available. There are many reasons to try small group tutoring including comfort and cost. Some individuals feel they learn better in such a setting, especially one that helps each member benefit from the questions asked by others. Others choose to work in a small group to reduce the costs incurred.
Group sessions are generally two or more hours in length. Prices are per student per hour and are based on the number of people in the group, which never exceeds eight. All group members must be on the same level. If not, members may become lost or bored, neither of which is effective and both of which are extremely detrimental to the group as a whole.

Fees are based on an hourly rate. Sessions are never less than one hour and time spent beyond the hour is broken down into increments.
A cancellation policy is always in place:
If a session must be canceled or changed, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required.
Exceptions will be made for special circumstances.
What are your fees?
Every learner is different in a multitude of ways. It's not possible to accurately predict how long one's process of improvement will take. It could take weeks or months or perhaps even longer. It's all dependent on how effectively one learns.
